Tara Brach explores the themes of her new book
Description:

The Buddha described the core of our suffering as not remembering who we really are. We leave home when we live in limiting stories that cover over our natural wisdom and armour our heart.

In today’s traumatised world this homesickness expresses in our epidemics of loneliness, anxiety, depression and societal dividedness. We have forgotten our belonging to each other, to this living web, to the loving awareness that is our essence.

In this talk, Tara Brach will consider the individual and societal roots of our self-doubt, mistrust and fear-based beliefs. She will then explore how the RAIN practice can awaken a healing compassion, and the capacity to see basic goodness, the light of awareness that lives through all beings.

Our time together will include a talk, guided meditation and time for questions.
