"Out of the head, and into the heart" kirtan and intention setting for the year ahead hosted by Rādhikā Dās & friends.
Description:

Another year comes to a close and we bring you an opportunity for a new beginning with heart-opening kirtan, intention setting, bhakti meditations plus a few surprises!

"Kirtan" is a call-and-response musical meditation that takes a minute to learn, and makes you feel good just as fast. The practice is ancient but is fast becoming THE modern alternative gathering to help you discover your inner world, without waking up the next morning with a hangover!

You don’t need to be a good singer, a practitioner of yoga, or a follower of any religion or set of beliefs to experience the power of kirtan. An open mind and a willing voice are all that is required. Combining music, mantra, meditation, and a few dance moves (from time to time), kirtan offers a rich, immersive experience that has the power to change the world, one heart at a time.

WHERE: The Great Hall, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton St, London W8 7NX
WHEN: 31st December New Year's Eve | 8pm onwards

New to Kirtan? FAB! Our kirtan is aimed at giving an immersive experience to both the toe dipper giving it a try and the well-established floating yogis!

Under 16's attend free, no ticket is required.  Adult supervision is required for the duration and to be mindful that there are meditative moments where a quiet atmosphere is observed.

Tickets are limited so grab them now while you can!

*NB Food will be available for purchase throughout the night till 11.30pm

About the speaker, Rādhikā Dās

Rādhikā says:  "15 years ago I went in search of spiritual truth and deeper happiness. The path I connected most with is "Bhakti Yoga," the journey of love and devotion, and of the various aspects of Bhakti Yoga, I've dedicated most of myself to becoming absorbed in the ancient practice of Kirtan.

I'm devoting my life to helping people find spiritual fulfillment, whether it be from an existing yoga or spiritual background or those with limited or no exposure to any practice. My aim is to help you toward a holistic way of joyful living.

Every human being has a beautiful light within that is just waiting to shine, but our false ego can often block us from unlocking our full potential. As a Bhakti practitioner, I want to serve you to dive deep and explore, unleashing your true vibrancy and joy.

With love, Rādhikā Das”
