The essence of Katie Hendricks approach to conscious living
Description:

Fear protects you—flow allows you to grow. You can protect or grow, but you can’t do both.

Fear has been woven into our physiology for thousands of years to alert us to react to immediate, life-threatening events. In recent years, fear-mongering has become so commonplace that most people don’t realise the heightened level of fear that is a daily background noise.

When you are caught in fear, everyone else looks like the enemy. Many people don’t sense their fear directly anymore, just the results of chronic fear: increased stress and dis-ease, as well as disconnection, distrust, and loneliness.

Fear is best befriended and shifted by moving, not talking. You can shift from fear to the flow of aliveness and the reunion of your problem-solving, emotional and animal brain to work together resourcefully rather than reactively.

In a state of flow, you get fully present in your life and can access all your inner resources and see others as equals and partners in your life. You can connect with your inner wisdom and creativity, and you can connect with others to collaborate rather than compete. You can co-create a new future for you, your family and global community.

This talk will explore the evolutionary power of Fear Melters and their ability to open deeper presence, direct connection with others, and new ways of joining resources to invent, collaborate and actually play through impasse and conflict. These experiential skills are useful in any type of relationship and any setting, from the bedroom to the boardroom. You’re invited to invent a new way of coming home to yourself and new ways of inventing the life you want.
