Ken Cohen, M.A. is a renowned qigong and Tai Chi grandmaster from Colorado with more than 50 years’ experience.
Description:

Taoism is both philosophy and spirituality. Founded by mountain hermits and sages--known as the “Immortals”-- its philosophy emphasizes simplicity, contentment, and harmony with nature. It is at the heart of Acupuncture, Qigong, Poetry, and Cuisine, all of which emphasize the balance of yin and yang. Yet, Taoism is also a spiritual path with a vast array of ritual and meditative practices designed to create a state of unity with the ineffable mystery known as the Tao.

Kenneth Cohen will discuss the most brilliant facets of this tradition and also guide you in Taoist meditation, which though based on mindfulness and tranquility also includes methods that deepen the breath, balance the qi (energy) of the internal organs, and absorb vitality from the sun, moon and stars. There will also be time for questions, perhaps, some answers, and an inspiring discussion of how to apply Taoism to our lives today.
